Anantara Chiang Mai Resort ★★★★★

Amazing staff, great restaurant and drinks bar, very good breakfast, beautiful premises and superb swimming pool. The location by the river is excellent. Would go back to Chiang Mai just to enjoy my time at the hotel.

The room that was provided with necessary stuffs and the big comfortable bed.

The lift was pretty far away to get in and one staff at the tea room wasn’t quite friendly, she gave an aggressive attitude towards the service that we were just asking for food advice but she wasn’t really friendly. How she responded back to our questions weren’t welcoming like she didn’t want to serve us service. so that was a really bad impression on this. Besides than her, other staffs were nice.

Great property. Excellent location. Convenient amenities. Exceptionally good spa! Huge breakfast spread.

The breakfast serving area was usually crowded especially if it was raining then the outside area needed to be closed. Also, since it is an open property, there is very little air-conditioned indoor space at the property except of course the rooms.

Building work noise at times due renovation

The counter staff,especially the KEVIN, were friendly.The whole hotel was so pretty,it was good to take pictures.(The size of the hotel was small enough to be everything in the picture.)I traveled a lot but it was rare to find a good room like this one. The room condition was the best .(Of course, it was also the most expensive hahaha)

I ate breakfast during my stay , it was the same. Next time i visit ,I will eat breakfast at the hotel for one day and eat the rest outside the hotel.For the whole month of September, the hotel was in the process of being repaired, a bit cluttered.

Everything was perfect. We were a party of 5 and all of us got upgraded to a suite. The suites were super clean and very spacious. All the staff is incredibly nice. The breakfast in the garden with river view is amazing. We will definitely come back

I would have liked to try more of the exercise classes at the gym (the yoga instructor was excellent) but they were very pricey so I only ended up doing one.

The New Year's Eve party was outstanding. A great event. The staff were amazing, cheerful, organised and the Manager was a superb host.

Anantara was a beautiful property with a fantastic staff. We were there for our honeymoon and they made our stay extra special upon arrival. The location is a bit outside of town, but not far - you can walk in 20 minutes, or take a tuk tuk and it's only about 5 minutes.

We absolutely loved our stay here. From our arrival to departure, it was one of the most memorable trips we have ever had. Firstly, the location... it is close to the airport and in the middle of town on the river so you literally feel all your worries and concerns be lifted and washed away as you enter the grounds. You can also literally walk to the night market. Dozens of spas walking distance but the spa on ground is so beautiful. Secondly the breakfast buffets is one of the best I have ever had. Thirdly, the staff are ALL so unbelievably kind which make sense as the manager we got to know as we ending up staying close to a week, Oliver, is one of my favorite I have ever met. I could go on and on about this place but you should definitely experience it for yourself. It is the nicest hotel in Chiang Mai. We have been before and feel confident saying this. We went to Kanjana Elephant sanctuary and Sticky Falls and visited temples and had the most amazing holiday. To come home to our Kansara suite was just divine. We had another regular room too and it was perfect as well. From your greeting drink to picking cedar wood soap and bath salts to the comfy slippers to the morning yoga. There were also daily activities for kids too as well as other things going on in the hotel we were unable to attend this visit. We will definitely come back and am officially now a fan of Anan Hotels. It is as luxurious if not more than Aman and right along side my favorite hotel Six Senses in Nin Vinh Valley. If you are coming to Chiang Mai please stay at one of favorite hotels in the world. It is heaven. xx

Warm and helpful stuff, nice resort and good location. Feel very comfortable to stay with. We also get daily fresh fruits.

The only thing which I don’t like is the toilet flush. It is bit weak, which is annoying me.

Perfect hotel, the food , service and the location were fabulous. Loved the aesthetics and even extended my stay here for 2 more nights!
